We start at 730pm and want it to end no more than 5 hours.

30,000 starting stack, rebuy or add on before first break. T100 base.

Expecting 10 players, could get lucky with 12-13, my guess is 3-4 rebuys/addons. I'm guessing maybe we get 450-500,000 chips in play.

Payouts being generous for more people rather than top heavy (as I would prefer lol). Using my tourney nights to enjoy/relax and recruit for cash games.

Yes 500/1000 blind runs twice. One round before rebuy ends, and another round after rebuys are over.

30,000 chip starting stack
Before 1st break you can rebuy or add-on 30,000 chips $150

I'd drop that double 500/1000 stuff, imo. Game should last until the 5000/10000 level, so the 20 min blinds should meet your time requirement. Payouts? 12 or less entries, nothing wrong with what you've got, but I'd go 40-30-20-10.

Just my preferences. All in all, I'll give it an 85, it's got a good beat and you can dance to it.

Yeah I’m being stubborn I just like the 40 min of play at the peak tourney time. Everyone will have 30-60 bb

I'm fine with the repeating 500/1000 level - I've seen double length levels in cardrooms like that.
What I don't love is the 3 big jumps right after that. But if that's what you have to do to get the tournament over in time, that's your choice.
The only other criticism I'd have is paying a 6th place 5% with 17 entries. I wouldn't choose to pay that many (again, up to you) but I've always felt pretty strongly that a tournament min-cash should always be at least the buy-in.

Haha yeah good call. They would win $127.50 and buy in is $150.

Structure:
Not a fan of inconsistent and unbalanced blind schedules. 40-min L6 and 30-min L12 is wacky.

C- for inconsisent level increase amounts; C for erratic level times.

Payouts:
I prefer relatively flat payouts to the top 25%-to-33% of the field size, but with increases that get progressively larger (so each jump is worth more than the previous jump).

B for number of places paid; C for the actual amounts paid.

Add another column showing the percentage increase, and the increase inconsistencies will be readily apparent.

15 players & rebuys or less, I’m paying 3
20 players & rebuys or less, I’m paying 4
30 players & rebuys or less, I’m paying 5
40…..

You get the point. 1st in the money always gets their original buy-in + 20% or so back.

It’s worked for me for 15+ years, so I’ll keep running with that.

The 1500-2500 level is weird too. The bb jumped 1000 from 1500-2500 the. Jumps 1500 to 4000 but then the next few levels jumps 1000 each level.
The 1500-2500 should be 1500-3000.
