Quantity over quality: highest PCF chip count (1 Viewer)

Not sure of my total count but I am in the "quality over quantity" camp. Quality could be shape of the chip or how much a set is desired. I mostly collect Nevada Casino chips so many of those are more expensive.

All I know is you guys have a problem!!! I am glad I do not have a hoard.

Happy Chipping!

This thread has made me go into philosophical mode. Material goods:ech::experiences:rule

I'd sell more if most of my chips weren't customs.

I need to update my count.
A lot. More than I need. More than I should have.

Whatcha selling?

My count is somewhere between "too many" and "Larry". I'm actually selling some chips, as one of my sets might be just a little big for my personal use. :p:eek:

Oh wait... this isn't "add-two-extra-zeros-to-the-real-number" day? :ROFLMAO:

775 CPC's (to gain +125 via first half add-on)
600 GPI Monacos
1100 ABC Ceramics
2600 CC 8V's (to be labeled in 2019)

I was north of 20,000 for a while before I decided to sell off about half of them at the end of last year.

I should be just under 10,000 (spread over 5 sets) within a month. Still way more than I actually need.

That said, I might go for my first set of customs this year, the scrown mold it tempting!

No and Ive had numerous frustrating events of trying to find something I know I own but can’t lay hands on it. Having a spreadsheet count does not equate to being organized. Hunting through a stack of plain white chip boxes can get annoying but occasionally does lead to some happy surprises.

Well, you could take pictures of your chip faces, print them out on (removable) Avery labels, and stick them on your boxes in whichever orientation is easiest for identification.

The neat thing about chips is we use them during games so they enhance experiences. I guess that is true of many material goods but these are a particularly good example.

Currently I'm at a count of approximately 10K chips :bag: in 9 Paulson Casino sets and some mixed Paulson sets and samples and small lots.

One China clay set (Desert Palms) and the other chips are Paulsons.

I'm in the 10k range also. Might be some sales coming up in late Jan or early feb though.

I usually rack up the quantity for a while and then sell off alot of them and buy a more expensive set.

I’m pretty sure you’re going to zoom right past me this year, Frank. (y)

Given how things have changed in the chip world, more competition, higher prices, I doubt I'll attain your levels. The higher prices really turn me off to the hobby. Some prices are just absurd , but there are people with deeper pockets that will pay.
