As a matter of fact I am working on designs for 2 clients/members of PCF. And will be advertising my art as much as posable. I started making a living about 10 years ago as a tattooist to make $ with art. It's a difficult medium as art genre, but the tattooist as his or her career is much more like a life style. Not that I couldn't hang, it was more like do I want to hang? I still will do a little popper for a friend now and then, however I do have my license and my blood borne pathogens certificate I really don't condone doing ink in a house. Just for a little $100 tattoo my kitchen becomes a full sterile doctors office if you know what I mean. I have been in shops my whole tattoo career and when I see what people are doing in their homes, it can be repulsive and down right dangerous. But as a lot of tattoo designs can be similar to logos, vector art, etc.......I have always loved grafic design. Now mix that with a pool hustler and card shark with the love of real casino compression molded chips and ta-da. My intention of poker chip design will go much further than just the occasional helper, my plans are in the works for about a year now and TMI for public exposure. But when the time comes stay as member and you will see this seed grow into something much larger than life. Thanks again ParrotheadMZ for the compliment and a simple look see. What's the base color on the frac? Is that yellow? If so, that might be the first color combo using a yellow base that I actually like. The 6A18 spots on a frac make my wallet hurt, as do the 414418 workhorse $5's, but they sure look nice!

Thank you and yes canary yellow with retro red & purple. It is a frac that i keep leaning towards when that blissful day comes. I unfortunately just lost my mother unexpectedly May 5th 2016, it has been quite difficult for me but i will keep on trucking on, knowing that is what she would expect of me. She and her friends including my father would play 7 stud when I was a child quite often i remember and years ago i showed her the ropes of holdem to which she grasped real quick. She got my dunes set for me from Apache back in 2011's Christmas and agreed that they were not like a real casino feel. When I approached her about CPC's she cringed at what the price would be for a 600 chip set "roughly" not even the said and done cost. This last Christmas she helped my brother out with a $3,500 computer and had told me that for my birthday she was planning to help with the chips as long as i bring them every visit back to Wisconsin for home games with the whole gang. During this last Christmas her dad (my gramps) passed and had left her and my aunt a deal of some money. At the time being, both my brother and I have been dealing with all the crazy things that death can weigh on one's self and financial responsibility we have been given. Through the death of our gramps my brother and I thought she would have made a will however she did not. Dealing with attorneys and coping simultaneously isn't easy. During this probate period i am reflecting on my life and goals i have as a father to be absolutely the best at what i do and to invest into my business in the direction of art and and security of a new home for my family. With all that being said I will eventually get that custom set and play the hell out of those chips with my family and friends including all that been like a family here at POKER CHIP FORUM. This is the first time i have exposed a part of my life with whomever reads this minus a select couple in private messages. I did not mean to bring anyone down nor do ask for any sympathy, I simply feel better when i can get it off my chest and be open about lifes obsticals. Thank you Psypher1000 for the like and to all that have welcomed me here at the forum
