Old news. Folks found member's other social media type accounts, he frequented sketch areas, posted and commented things that make you feel very queasy. That along with him frequently talking about hanging around youth on here and mentioning often being alone in their company was upsetting to some, sprinkle in some racial comments, got a nice little TCAP jumbalaya.
Wow, haven't been on PCF long enough to hear about this.. how long ago was it?

What is TCAP?

I was tempted to report when I received an e-mail notification that there was a new reply to a thread that I had posted in - the title had been changed to " Self-Righteous Cunts - Please Chime In". That wasn't the name of the thread when I posted, but the OP used the thread to call everyone who didn't agree with him douchebags, feckless cunts (obviously didn't apply to me, I have a whole bunch of fecks), and otherwise try to pick an online fight with everybody and anybody. Troll material for sure, and I had to laugh at the attempt, but getting that message in my Inbox was a bit disturbing. But hey, it was in the Politics Forum, people can say what they want there, so I shrugged it off and deleted the email notice.

Isn't that a very similar story to how the scrub donkey chips came into existence?

Over the years, I've reported a small number of posts. Most of the time it was because someone came in and stomped on a good conversation or a sale thread.

The vast majority of my reports contain the word "assholery."

The moderators cannot (nor should be expected to) be immediately aware of everything that happens across the entire site. That's where self-policing comes into play.

It is the responsibility of all PCF members to assist in maintaining some resemblance of order, which includes the reporting of content that violates posting guidelines.

I feel like I am missing part of the story. You boys have fun.

I continue to be honestly stunned at this place. I thought I had created a pretty interested idea, purchasing/selling a much desired rack based on the Super Bowl coin flip. People seemed intrigued, others thought it was cool. What a cool sweat to join even if you're not involved, like heads or tails who's gonna get the rack?!

But somehow the ad and thread was reported by multiple members. I can't remotely understand what makes someone on the internet stop to read a thread and have that type of thread aggravate them enough to actually report it. I don't see any ToS that it explicitly broke.

I don't think I've ever reported a post, and in the event it ever happened that I felt so moved to do so, I'd probably just drop a comment to the OP.

If you don't like fun and new ideas and bright colors, just block me. At this point, my nuts are getting tired of having so many people hugging them.

lol! Don't forget squeezing and kicking them.

Did your thread get deleted? That sounds wierd to me as well. Didn't see an issue there. I was looking forward to a fun sweat!

Yup. The classifieds can have joke threads. People can list imaginary chips. It can have 1 million dollar auctions for a yellow cut card. People can post "for interest" but then be told to add a price and edit their listing. All of that is allowed.

But mine was deleted because:

"Your ad was reported by multiple members. You are not following the classifieds listing rules again. When you check this box, you agree to the rules. They are very clear. Your ad had no price so it was deleted."

My OP said that we would purchase each others' racks at Tiger Palace pricing.

I would tag the mods here (someone else feel free to do so) and ask why that was an issue but "We DoNt TaLk PuBlIcLy AbOuT mOdErAtIoN".

If it didn’t technically qualify as a sale ad, can you repost as a trade? Maybe a new post for this in a different section?

I mean then lets get every single thread that says "Will buy or sell at this amount" and is listed as trade/wanted/for sale deleted.

There isn't the exact space for those to sit in, and they have never been moderated to my knowledge (nor have any of mine posted in that way).

But yes I agree with you on the technicality. Maybe now that I explicitly stated the price they'll Mod it based on that part.

Yeah, I haven’t seen ads removed before for not having a price, but maybe there have been. Generally, it’s another member that brings it to the OPs attention, and they comply.
