Chips I am getting don't allow denominations that low...only the set amounts they have


Its a bunch of college students and we usually play with different denominations anyway than what is on the chips. May get what you said tho thx

Personally then I'd get a different set.

Cash games are much easier when the amount on the chip is the amount it represents. I've done the chip value is 10x real value before in a pinch. But if you are buying a set with denominations, I'd get denominations that work for the game I'm playing. That is after all what they are for.
