PCF Pipe and Tobacco (5 Viewers)

The closure of the Sutliff Richmond factory by the new ownership, and resulting discontinuation of a huge chunk of their portfolio is a big hit to pipe smokers. Totally sucks.

Here’s a new Savinelli Avorio 121 I recently acquired…

Anyone used to smoke off glass pipes? I should’ve gotten a wooden pipe back then I’d looked so cool among friends who have glass pipes. I wanted a pipe seeing cool old men smoke tobacco on movies when I was younger.

Picked up a Viking bifrost bent tomato. I really like it. In my daily rotation. Getting that nicotine in. Never smoked, picked it up at 54.

Anyone smoking a pipe to get your T?
I’ve gone through half a pound and bought another pound of this. I’m no aficionado, but this is my favorite smoke with a dark cup of coffee.. and a great smoke listening to Mariano go over his Hustler hands on my commute home.

It was soaked in some rum for its casing. Gawith twists are a different breed of pipe tobacco. The casings aren't overwhelming like many aromatics can be.

Great now I’ve got to buy new tins…

Oh shit! I didn’t realize the Country Squire sold this - I can keep giving my friends my money- nice!

They’ve only got 2 oz, well at least I get to give it a go

It's usually a bulk item, though I think they do have tins as well. Boswell and Watch City sell it. Watch City has some great blends of their own. Ernie does a great job on his blends. Ken Byron Ventures in Tennessee also has some fantastic blends.
