PCF Car Pr0n - Cool cars you have / had / want! (2 Viewers)

I’ve been at home with Covid but my uncle who is a long time salesman at BMW was working magic remotely and dropped off my new car to me today. Got to take it for a quarantine drive haha. Thing is an absolute blast.

Sexy ride Mo
Love the colors. Especially that beautiful leather! I'm a sucker for any shade of brown or tan leather.
Thanks fellas. My first drive was a little bit of a let down. Took it back out for a short rip and thought man, wtf was I thinking lol. It's such a fun car to drive. I'm so used to the sedan life but this thing handles so damn well.

I was invited, as a good client and owner of a 911 Carrera 997 Mk2 GTS (just 408hp and just 4.2 seconds for 0-100kmh), some years ago, by the Porsche dealership in Athens, to drive the 911 Turbo S of the time (must have been the 991 mk1) with 560hp. On a racetrack, of course.

The car was tearing away the tarmac (physically, visibly).
I was timed at 2.9 seconds for 0-100 km/h (or 62mph) upon the second try (on the first one I was startled and left the gas pedal before reaching 100kmh).

What was even more violent was the 100-0 breaking, which activated the seatbelts.
I turned to the instructor, a barely adult Finnish champion boy, and exclaimed "Jesus Fuckin Christ".
He said "yes".
:)

Thanks. So far, mostly suspension. Titanium arms and links, lowered about 3/4”, intakes, titanium exhaust. Injectors, fuel pumps, blow off valves are waiting on a shelf for my tune appointment.

My skyline is in the garage having a new bodykit fitted/respray, then some engine mods and a remap but heres a few pics from when I got the car to now. It looks like its gone backwards a bit but trust me its gonna look beasty when it's done.

I'll add progress pictures as they come.

2 years since an update. Slow burner but my paintshop guy is doing it over evenings and weekends. Ill have a fully reprayed car with the kit fitted in the next 2 months at which I'll post an update!

Well, if we're admitting to owning two-wheelers now, I've had at least 30 of those. Mostly Hondas, since the first, a 1965 Honda 305 Superhawk, that I was stupid enough to ride from Fort Dix NJ to Fort Ord CA in six days in 1966. Couldn't walk for a month afterward... :cool

Come to think of it, that's also the only bike I ever crashed, a year later. Had a rear tire blow out at 65 on the NJ Turnpike, no helmet, and lived to tell the tale. Also the last time I ever rode anything with spoked wheels. Coincidence? o_O

Looking back, this was my only cruiser-type bike, but I did love it -- 750cc 1998 Magna:

...and this one was my favorite bike ever, finally sold about five years ago, along with my Honda 919, since riding a bike in this part of Florida is suicidal with all the incompetent drivers on the road -- my rip-snortin' 2001 998cc Aprilia Falco:

The one bike I always wanted and never had a shot at finding was a Gurney Alligator:

Been close to that, had a couple of mates looking for something to hold onto in the CJ.
bit like this scene
BTW great movie

Found a picture of the car I had in high school. A 1976 Mercury Capri with minor motor mods (headers/carb/cam), minor suspension mods, and polished centerlines. Used to sneak out and would roll the car down my street and pop the clutch at the bottom so not to make too much noise. Good times!

Many cars and years between my first car and my current (2018 Model 3).

I remember when I first got this car I said to myself "...0-60 and i'm about to find the fuck out."

The daily driver. She ain't going to win the most sexy award or any drag races...but I'll tell you these Focus ST's are an absolute blast to drive. Mine is the last model year (2018) in the ST3 trim package (leather Recaro's FTW)

And here's my weekend crawler for offroading and overlanding. WJ's are a great platform for this...you skip the jeep tax and pay next to nothing for a super reliable off roader with solid axles front and rear and a bullet proof engine if you get the 4L inline 6. Plus they're (relatively) cheap to fix compared to 4Runners, Tacomas and Rubicons. Of course, off road mods are a deeeeeeeeep rabbit hole.
