I'm late to the game on this. Short answer is no, Neymar is just a crybaby prick, but I assure you that he thinks he's the best penalty taker/soccer player on earth. He's arrogant, selfish, and has not won enough to justify his attitude.

Poisoned. He was AT the Holland-Argentina game WORKING and collapsed. Dropped dead on the spot. Unless he threw a PE because of the recent lengthy travel, this looks really, really bad. Especially because he was "detained" for half an hour during a group stage game and denied entry to the stadium because he wore a pro LGBTQ shirt. Received death threats. Just posted an article blasting Qatar's human rights record and treatment of migrant workers. Started to not feel well just after said detention. There's a good chance not all is what it seems here.

that's a stretch to say no doubt. But I certainly agree there's a chance. Although, why would he be targeted just for wearing a rainbow shirt a few weeks ago.

He apparently had bronchitis like issues didn't he in the week leading up to his death? That would put a strain on the heart.

Interested to see what comes of it though. Sad situation. Rip.

If his family, including his wife, a well known infectious disease specialist and faculty at a large regional medical center thinks something is amiss here, I'm going to believe them. To me, the red flags here are about as subtle as a Scotsman that just hooked his tee shot into a water hazard.

I don’t know of the guy or his history. Had never heard of him. Just the article that he posted. Poisoning is more of a Russian tactic. In the Middle East people just tend to disappear.

On a completely different note it’s interesting how holding the World Cup in a place not exactly known for its human rights record has seen a complete eradication of any football hooliganism. Just shows you that even the hooligans know not to push their luck.

Worst ref ever! He is a total shitshow.

Only thing worse then watching that shitshow of a Ref, is now listening to Ali Wagner blather on in the Mor/Por game.

I literally have to turn the sound off - she is absolutely unbearable. Just blathering on and on. How does she get selected to commentate a WC semi final - it’s absolutely criminal.

You are better off being spared - lol. The only good soccer commentators for the US are imported from the UK, the rest are never were, has been relics from the US soccer “golden years” mid-90’s.

Ali Wagner is a former U.S. women’s player who has less personality than my cat’s litter box.

They gave some mad stat last night about how many times they’ve won a game after conceding the first goal. They don’t know when they’re beaten. Smaller population than Scotland. We could learn so much from their attitude.
