This ECBP A124 is severely underrated. It was one of only two bottles that was completely kicked at my meetup this weekend (the other was a fantastic Pinhook 8 year)

I heard that one really depends on the bottle you get. Happy to hear you got one of the good ones

My ECBP A-124 is bad so far...

Heavy funk, reminds me of drinking a rotten apple.

I'll revisit much later, but fuck
 
So I’ve got a bunch of random bottles and smaller distillery bottles still to scan in. But if anyone is interested, here is what I’ve scanned into the OnlyDrams app so far. I’m guessing it updates as I scan more.

My A124 started off mediocre at best but has really opened up into a pretty damn good bottle. I thought my Larceny A124 started off even worse but like the ECBP, it’s now a real solid pour. Hope yours improves over some time out.

Have you had the opportunity to try this again recently? I did the full lineup and honestly was not a fan of the 23y. It led me to sell my bottle. I believe yours would have been SW, which I’ve heard is noticeably different, but never had the opportunity to sample.
 
I think Four Roses will be next.

I haven’t had the 23 in about 10 years. I remember if didn’t think it was quite as good at that time, but I was getting over a sinus infection and wrote it off to that. Have heard from others it isn’t as good as it used to be, so may be some truth to that. I’m not sure.

$29 is insane for that bottle! I thought I got a killer deal on my last bottles at $40 apiece when my local put them on clearance last fall…and yes, I did take the remaining 5 they had

Dude would have been told flat out to keep at least 3-4 of those cases on the hand truck and follow me out to the parking lot as I’m handing the clerk my credit card :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Just out of curiosity…what %ABV is your bottle? I’m guessing it’s either 63.7 (batch 3) or 63.5 (batch 4). IF it’s 66% ABV, that would be batch 2 and a major score. That was my favorite, but they’re all bangers.
