Have you tried their Grizzly Beast offering yet? Curious to see how it compares, I really liked that ine. I tend to slightly prefer their bourbons to the ryes, and the lost monarch combo is heaven (including the cast strength version).

I just realized a few days ago that this Distillery was in Iowa. I'm probably going to check them out next time I go home for a visit.
It's good juice. One of my coworkers is friends with the head guy there. We are planning to buy a barrel and go in person to select. I'm stoked.

@Irish this was 28.99 for a 700ml. Figured even if I don’t love it I’ll use it to make cocktails when we have people over. First pour but so far I like it, on the nose i honestly can barely tell it’s a rye but on the palate the rye spices show up: starts with a lot of typical brown foreman notes (which I enjoy thinking a brûléed banana and toasted marshmallow) and then I start to get some baking spices, a good amount of mint and some black pepper with a decent finish. Nothing bad to say for a sub $30 bottle

for the push to go ahead and pick up the KC 12. After cracking open my Old Overholt 10 last week, I decided to grab the OO 100 to compare to OF 100 as my house Rye for old fashions and other cocktails. Who knows I might even try it as a sipper. Surely it's at least 26% as good as the 10-year? ($26 vs $100)
