Yeah I grabbed 4 lol so hard to pass up. It’s normally $65-70 in regular liquor stores here (and I almost never see it anyways). Costco is the shit!
Haven’t had a chance to read up on the background on these. It seems redwood has a few different bottles in the same vein. Very unique flavor profile. Cheers

Agree; RE is excellent. This one is very different from the other expressions I’ve had from them…suppose to be expected. I’m terrible at articulating flavor notes…so I won’t pretend to. Normally I can give a reasonable comparable though….and am struggling to come up with something. Cursory response…it’s good; but not as good as their other whiskies… I’ll give it a thought.
Sunday night is scotch night. Out of tradition I almost always have Johnny Walker. I drink over ice and enjoy it much differently than bourbon. But tonight my Johnny ran out and I didn’t have a backup. So I am enjoying this instead.
