Bill confided in us last night that he is breaking up with Elijah Craig, due to a not so secret affair with Old Grand Dad.
OGD 114 is a very good value. I have no guilt about mixing with it either.

Had a great day today. I judge a regional college engineering competition where students build these cool 1:10 scale bridges. Last time this ran was 2019, so it was really great to finally see them back and competing again.
It is a prerty grueling day - well... at least for a fat middle aged dude - 10+ hours on your feet, running around, getting down to measure. So now its time to medicate, lol. I'll join in with all you ECBP folks tonight, cheers!

Long road trip from Central California to Washington. Picked up some new-to-me bottles along the way. Ready to unwind.
I’m a relative newb to whisky, but love this. The slight seaside taste/flavour… weirdly exists but is nice.
The world (well, speyside) is your oyster, lying just north, relatively. I’m more than partial to an Aberfeldy which is close by.

The Murray Hill Club was a hard pass for me after having a bottle. The regular JM is better, but still a pass going forward. I really hope I dig the Cigar Blend!

Just a thought, but we should probably keep talking about buying bottles and prices in PMs instead of just in the thread. It doesn’t bother me one bit, but I don’t want us to cause any trouble for the site.
I’ve really been leaning into compass box lately. I’m up to 9 and so far I’ve enjoyed them all.
