was at a friends a few weeks back and I offered him a scotch I'd brought. "no thanks, I'm not a big fan of scotch" and proceeds to offer me a japanese whisky....
Just had to smile and go with it.
Good haul today. My 4R barrel pick shelf was getting empty, prices have gone up but still less than the cost of completing filling up the Tacoma haha. Apparently this Dickel 15y is a 17y barrel that only yielded 6 cases at 101 proof. It’s definitely tasty, a little dark and a hint of that dickel chalkiness, but damn good for $60. Excited to try this WB Saffel for sure.
