Yeah. I know that part. I can't seem to figure out how to configure the order the way @C-Dog did.
 
Let me be more specific. i see where I can order the chips as blanks, but not where to add these specific labels.
 
Okay, so I really can’t resist Sal. I’m in for a very small amount of chips, like 100. Maybe more. I didn’t post any quantities in the poll thread as I was late to the party so my minuscule order won’t go toward those numbers. Will likely order last minute as I debate which denoms to buy first. Leaning heavily towards 43mm Mayfair club suits. I know the minimum order is 25 chips, but do we have to order in increments of 25? Sorry if it’s been covered elsewhere. So many different threads/posts for this GB make it hard to keep up @OldWestPokerSupplies

When selecting the chips you want (with different labels as I did), select the blank mold you want, and then follow up with an email to Sal. Be specific, and in your case, he may reach out to you to fully clarify.

He is quite talented (as I have learned in this process), and I think can get most anything you request.

There are a couple of posts on the first couple pages of this thread that explain how to change the labels there are a couple ways to do it. The easiest is probably just to go to whatever blank you want, actually go to the page for the individual chip and not the landing page where you can add multiple types of blanks to your cart. On the individual blank page there will a drop down menu that you can select from. Select your options or select the custom option and follow up your order with an email explaining what you want.

I think that's a good idea, I might be interested to pick up some samples of labels I didn't order.

Yes, this is what I did for Mayfair 818 43mm chips. I ordered the colors I wanted on the individual chip page by selecting custom label from the drop down. In my case I converted the 500 to 500,000 and the 1000 to 1,000,000 [edit]. I just liked those colors better. Then after I got my invoice order I replied to the email and described to Sal what I wanted. He responded quickly and is very good at customer communications.

I'm probably in the minority, Mayfair Suits BJ Cash set is what I went with.

Come to think of it, it would be really interesting if @OldWestPokerSupplies could post a general breakdown of which theme/sets are on order. From the polling and threads, it looked as if the Tangiers theme was the runaway favorite, with maybe the Mayfair Skyline theme in 2nd place. I personally was torn between the Havana and Mayfair Suits theme.
 
I went Tangiers 818 tourney set. Was tough call between those and Mayfair lineart skyline. Suits were also in play, but in the end, I went fantasy casino. Ace Rothstein and I both worked for years without a license. In fantasy land.
 
I mostly bought Mayfair suits tournament to have a super high roller set. Not a huge order but I plan to add on in the future assuming everything goes forward. I also bought a tiny Tangiers cash set. Again planning to add on later too. It'll be a good travel set.
 
I went limit, but i'm considering a last second add on to accommodate NL cash settings as well.

Mayfair Line art labels...but custom denoms
 
Is there any way to order a sample set of the blanks? Ideally I'd like to get one of each color/style (Bud Jones and tournament) but I don't really want 25 of everything.

That's my problem too. I committed to 50 chips in the poll, assuming samples would be available. I am interested in some 43mm hybrid samples.
 
brought out my sunfly hybrids tonight to play some craps w/ the wife {gotta practice up/been on vacation} these chips have quickly become a favorite. like a better bud jones {not so slippery}

kinda dragging my feet on this buy/knowing i will regret it. i just have so many chips!
 
A million thanks to everyone who has ordered so far. I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news first...
We surpassed the 5k level on the 39mm chips so there will be no price increase there.

The bad news...
We still have one day left to order but the totals on the 43mm chips is about 4k short of predicted. It's really only about 2800 chips short of the 10k mark. But it does mean a price increase of 4 cents per on the 43mm chips.

I'd love to think there's a few large orders pending for the 43mm out there but I don't see it at this point. I've mass emailed and PMd the whole list of those that showed any interest in the group buy at all. Looks like a couple of good orders came out of that but also a few withdrawal confirmations.

So we have to make a hard decision in the next 48 hours:

1) Extend the deadline and hope for the best (already done that once but it could prove helpful)
2) Take it on the chin and everyone who ordered the 43mm chips will have to pay the additional 4 cents per chip via PayPal. (That's $4 per 100 chips)

Keep in mind that we are actually extending a generous discount beyond the normal member pricing and tier levels in order to make the group buy a true value. If we fall below the 5k marks on both chips you will still be getting a much larger than normal discount on the hybrids (about 12 cents per chip) but unfortunately you'll still be asked to pay more than we originally planned. I don't think we need to cancel the group buy altogether so I don't want to even suggest that as an option because we still won't you to be rewarded for participating.

(We will offer all these designs for ordering on our site. There just won't be a large discount as offered in the group buy and the minimums for hybrids are actually 50 chips per denom not 25 like in the group buy.)

I'm perfectly okay with extending the deadline myself, I'm not an any special hurry. Having said that if your experience says we're not going to get there I'm also good with pulling the trigger.

My understanding is no samples on this one. Probably especially now we're not hitting minimum standards on the 43mm. I do know that the 39mm are the same process as other Sunfly hybrids on the market if you have seen those. I understand that the 43mm are a real upgrade.

Well, I hope you are still considering placing an order but the minimums are 25 of each chip.

Sorry but there are still chips that I designed that didn't even get chosen in this group buy which means we would be printing chips for samples that we may never sell. They could sit on our shelves for years, thereby adding to our overhead and cost of goods. This is probably the biggest reason for printing on demand in this industry.

We had discussed doing sample runs but then we decided against it and everyone who responded agreed with the decision. There are also far too many different designs for running samples that would suit everyone's needs (39mm and 43mm of each design: Tangiers/Mayfair Suits/Mayfair Liberty/Mayfair Lineart/Havana Room). We still have to run 25 of each denomination/design whether they are considered samples or a regular print run. And as mentioned above we can have samples sit on shelves and never sell.

And as mentioned before we do sell samples of the Ascona and Everest hybrids if you want to order those.
 
My vote is definitely to take it on the chin. I feel like we've had orders opened for long enough. My order has been in for a whole month tomorrow and if that's not long enough for people to put their orders in then they weren't going to order anyway.

Also I know my order was 2/300 short from what I voted in the poll. If we are close to the 10k number by tonight and my add on would matter I will definitely order another few hundred chips.
