Official Home Game Pics Thread! (47 Viewers)

They are in great shape. I find Paulsons hold up really well with light home game use. It makes me wonder how the used casino chips get so beat up.

You don't have to answer @Hornet , but rather anyone with Jack's can. How have these held up with light (weekly or less) home game use and shuffling? I can't wait to have a playable set. Won't be long.
Assuming you mean color transfer? Would think everything else would be minimal.

ASoP Championship game starting now -- 8 players, stacks ranging from 21,500 to 52,500 (33,188 avg), AS tourney chips in play, @domena666 chip leader, @Gobbs 2nd in chips, @PokerChipWidow 7th in chips, @BGinGA dealing :( :

Order in which I saw things:
1. Chips
2. Table

4. Cupholders
5. Chairs

Mine haven’t gotten a ton of play. Maybe used them a half dozen times but I’ve shuffled some between games. They are still pretty minty. Still more difficult to shuffle than slightly broken in chips.

That and how long/how much shuffling is needed to wear down the edges of the chips? There are some Horseshoe chips that still have sharp edges after 3 years of heavy use...would think that mint Paulson's would just about last a lifetime of weekly home use. Just wanted to hear some reports :)

The secondary 100s seem to show color transfer more quickly than the other chips — the spots darken a bit after shuffling. But edges are still sharp and I expect will hold up for years of home use.

I can tell you from first hand experience...

I play in a group. The host lavishes us with Jacks and other amazing chips.

The game played allows for smoking. Drinking. Eating of burgers fries etc all the while we play poker. Just so much fun. I was so lucky to get invited..

It's effing awesome. Cigars, butts and other "smoking sticks" get passed around and there are a couple ashtrays that actually stay on the table. I've seen spills...ashes...with Jacks in between. Here is a snap of what these Jacks and probably most if not all Paulson's can live through..

They still look and feel like mint Jacks. After repeated use.

Here's a picture I took about a month or two after getting my Jack's. I decided to do a sort of experiment shuffling the same barrel of chips every day while playing online poker/ watching TV etc chilling at home. Probably at least an hour daily, some days many hours. The left barrel show some wear from this, compared to a mint barrel on the right. This is not a once a week home game situation though:whistle: :whistling:, but it shows that they will break down from constant shuffling. (Honestly I will say I prefer the feel of shuffling the broken in barrel)

Love those little experiments. I did this years ago with a barrel of ASMs and I have to say chips that you got mint become just perfect when they're broken in!
