Thanks for the starting guide.

Hang around a while and browse the forum, there is a ton of great info here. Your last sentence says it all, they are cheap and disposable. Many of us here started with that type of set, (I went for the Nexgen's) and soon realized we wanted something closer to what is used in actual casinos. If that works for you then great, but, my experience playing games with those chips were you breath on the stack and they come tumbling down. There are more options these days, some not much more than what those cost, of course cost is relative.Quick question: "It is highly suggested to use denominations for sets". Why is this the case? When I've been in poker tournaments, they have to color people up as stacks increase. This means they either have to possess larger denomination chips to replace the ones on the table, or they change the value of each color. Isn't it easier & requires FAR fewer chips to simply change the value of each color?
When I've looked around, I always felt like these kinds of sets were the most logical option

You can get more whenever you need to and choose values, they're cheap and disposable, etc.
For Broken Arrow Cardroom Supply (the regular monthly group buy), you can order samples in this thread:I’ve been trying to figure out so much for the past week since joining… and somehow overlooked this thread. LOL
Not sure where I should post this (and feel free to send me there rather than answer here), but how does one order samples of group buy chips?
