Hello from Scotland where it’s currently 5am, it’s snowing and I can’t sleep.
Edit: I’ve added pictures of my chips. Portugal poker series, custom made £ sterling cash set, near complete WTHC set.

Welcome! My grandmother owned a bed and breakfast in Maryland named "Glascow". It was built in 1760 which for America is basically as old as it gets. My sisters just got back from Scotland for new years and had a blast.

What chips are you into and what's the poker scene like in Glasgow?

Thanks for the warm welcome!! I’m guessing that your sisters went to Edinburgh for New Year. Tell them to try Glasgow next time. It’s buzzing and not as touristy!!
I’m currently building a set of WTHC chips (I know I’m a glutton for punishment ). If you have any 1s or 5,000s let me know...
I’ve got some (2,000) Portuguese EPT chips which I use for my tournaments and a custom made cash set (very hard to get £ denominations so have to make your own). Also got the old Milanos.
It’s hard to get decent chips over here and importing them from the US incurs a 20% tax.

There’s a couple within 20-30 minutes of where I live. Auchentoshan and Glengoyne. I prefer the island malts myself.

I’m currently trying to build up a set of WTHC (just need some 1s and a few 5,000s). Also like some of the EPT ceramics. I bought a set from the Portugal leg of EPT. And had some made for my cash game.
I was in Vegas in 2017 so took a couple of chips back with me.

Just home games mate. Used to play at the Riverboat and Glassford Street. Not played at the Quay but that looks pretty good. I got fed up with casino games. Tourneys went on until 3am and I was up early for work.

I set up a pub game at the Bon Accord. It's still running under new management but many of the original regs have moved on.

I've not played much at all in recent times (young kids) but thinking about setting up a new game in the not so distant future now the younguns are getting a bit more manageable
