I was thinking about your cold run as of late. Your wins seem to be modest but your losses colossal.
I can hear you already scoffing at me from Texas, but have you considered sitting down at the hold 'em tables there for a bit? You still have the same punters looking to donate but your equities aren't going to run as close together preflop as they would in PLO. I've seen that you've been potting it lots with aces and premiums preflop in PLO and the players not respecting your raises and you're going into the flop and streets after multiways, and of course someone ends up sucking out, even if you play perfectly post flop.
I do think that you'll find you'll be winning more, at least at the Lodge.
I'd rather jump off a bridge than play hold em cash games
Also, you are seeing hands from over a month ago
My next couple of vlogs are decent wins (except for the four raw, unedited hands I'll share soon from this past saturdays session)
Also, at the end of the day if I'm getting money in as an equity favorite, that's really the goal.
Short term the variance will beat up on you, long-term you'll make the money
Guys raising KQ33 pre and calling off half their stacks, or calling $280 preflop 4-ways holding 3445 aren't going to hold onto that money long-term
It sucks that short-term they are rewarded for being boneheads and it's my roll that suffers.
But at the end of the day I want AAQQ vs KQ33 all day
