Pro tip... push with the winning hand.
One of the first tournaments I ever played in vegas was a $60 donkament at the Monte Carlo. Probably at midnight. Similar I had a weak king against a weak ace. Both of us flopped pair and got all in on flop. Two other players at the table told me they folded a king, leading me to conclude I was drawing dead. I started to get up and quickly sat down when a miracle king appeared on the river. It turned into a huge troll for the guy with a pair of aces that thought it was locked up. Especially because the other players really believed they folded a king.In the SB. Button limps, hero looks at and shoves, old guy in BB snaps, button folds.
BB turns over ?
Button sees my hand and exclaims THAT'S WHAT I HAD!
Flop
well, we're not dead
Turn
River
And we are out 10th, top 6 paid, whomp whomp

Why are we ripping it in here? Either could be playing a two-card hand and have a 4 hanger? I'd rather wait until we smash the flop before ripping it all in with just an overpair against two players on a paired board. Is it me?CO is $10 straddle, we call button with
SB a tricky pro raises to 45, few callers, we repot on a 1k stack to $230
He calls, two others call. Over $900 in the pot
Flop
Pro donks $200
Asian male aged 21-60 on my right thinks for awhile and calls

There's an EP minraise to 10, bunch of callers, we call
Button makes it 20, original raiser makes it 30, shorty shoves for 120, we fold
3 way all-in and flop comes K74TT and we miss out on a nice pot
Still the right laydown. Did anyone show a winner?
