Started the trip today. Drove to Windsor to fly out of Detroit tomorrow. Haven't done one of these for a few trips but it's been a couple years since I've been and it is my nephew's first trip so super excited about this one.

Started off winning on check-in. Upgraded to a corner suite

Super under rated poker room in Windsor - I love it there ! Say hi to hydie the dealer :) she loves talking about her cat ;)

During the boom, there was nothing like the poker room at Casino Windsor (before it was Caesar's Windsor) on the Friday after (American) Thanksgiving... Even with the $6 per half hour seat fee, the $1/$2 table was extremely profitable.

Table change !! That woman beside u is missing fingers - she will make u want to hang yourself !!! Table change fast - trust me lol She is the worrrst !!!

Is it just me or does that table look tight........and the felt is fairly obnoxious.......time to call in @T_Chan The Man to do a table order for them! ;)

Enjoy your trip! Run good! Make sure you stop at Earl of Sandwich! I love that place!

Day 1

Woke up at 6am. Had $10 in free slot play. Managed to cash out $10.50. My nephew had a free $10 direct bet. Dealer up card 3, dealt pocket 8s. Split and dealer busted. On to Vegas!

Landed a bit early but gave the extra time all back at the check-in counter for the rental. Swung by UNLV to pick up our tickets for Sat. Still looking to giveaway my extra pair @Jackstraw

A quick trip to Spring Mountain Rd for Hot n Juicy.

Got a nice Go room on the 22nd floor.

Headed to the pokerroom. Pokerzz not going well so far on this trip but did pick up a good number of fairly good $1 chips.

Packed it in just before 10 pm (1 am our time) and hiked over to the Mirage in time for the volcano.

Then back to the Flamingo and some In n Out to wrap the day.

TL/DR, started with Hot N Juicy, finished with In N Out.

This is awesome! Is this the first time you've been back to Vegas since they redid that food/shop strip outside the Flamingo/O'Shea's?

Also is the Flamingo still running the 1/1 PLO game?

I was wondering how long that In N Out has been there. My last trip to LV was a couple years ago.

Yes my last trip there the wheel was just open but never made it to that part of the strip and In N Out was not there yet. It is a pretty cool area. Picked up tickets for the High Roller from Groupon on cybermonday. In N Out is just outside the Flamingo doors. Super convenient, though Johnny Rockets inside the Flamingo is probably better.

The PLO has not run since the summer. Vegas is pretty quiet right now.

Day 2

Started at Silver Sevens for breakfast. But the good deals there are no more. Instead of 2 meat, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes for $4.99 they now have 3 eggs, meat and hash browns for $7.77 and way better deals can be found right on the strip.

Anyways day 2 is uneventful for most of the day. Just grinding 2-4 limit to get our hours in for the $12k Flamingo freeroll on fri.

Dinnertime we tram it to Aria for the buffet on a 2:1 myvegas coupon. Then we walk back to work off the crab and butter oozing from our pores and watch the Bellagio fountains go off

Back to Flamingo to grind more hours. Things are going ok.

Shortly afterwards though Phil, a Vegas local I know from previous trips comes into the pokerroom. Phil is a hard partier. He ends up at our table we immediately begin the shots.

Gotta run. TBC

As of this morning, they claim it is still available. You must have a players card.

So anyways, nephew meets Phil and they
do a shot.

And then we do another shot.

When the 70 year old grinders start doing shots you know it's going to end badly...

This old guy can still outdrink a 21 year old.

LOL at local Phil. Met him 3 yrs ago and played with him for around 6 hrs, had a few shots as well. he gave me his phone number and shot me a friend request on FB. I feel there's something a foot with him. Must have a liver of stone though, couple of local people at table are telling me that he seems really nice but drinks too much. Supposedly a few days before I had met him one of his good friends had OD'd while partying with some Russians at the Cosmo. He thought the was foul play involved. Nice dude though. This thread has me jonesing for another vegas trip

This is the menu we had. Not sure where you found yours.

I also pulled it off their website (.PDF format). It would appear that either they dropped it very recently, or it is just an "off the menu" item (like the steak special at Ellis Island).

Did you happen to ask about it? I totally agree $7.77 is not a breakfast deal and I'd hate to take make the drive from the strip just to get strip prices.

I just assumed it was gone.
