hey people, i was out of country for a while, came home last week and honestly forgot to check here - i'm working night shifts and had my mind somewhere else.
thats clearly my mistake.
i only had like 60 decks left and had to order another 100 to cover up all decks that were lost, i was waiting for them to arrive. it came when i was out of country.

i absolutely have to say sorry for all issues that came up and me not coming online for a while. i just logged in to this:

ALL orders that have been paid have been sent out. i can provide proof on that - shipping for all packages has been paid with DHL.
unfortunately as i decided to ship untracked / uninsured there is no way to know where the lost packages are.
the price difference from untracked to tracked wouldve been too big to be worth to consider

heres price comparison for canada packages for example

untracked shipping was just 9€ - cheapest tracked option is 38€ (!!)

as i want everyone who made an order to receive their decks i'm organizing full second shipment on my cost for the orders that didnt arrive.
this means i'm taking a loss on these sales, but i dont mind.

the reshipment of defective decks from USA group buy will happen tomorrow. i'm figuring out how to pack everything super secure so last times issue hopefully wont happen again. will post bunch of pictures tomorrow so everyone knows.

i will include missing orders to canada in that same package (had two, none arrived unfortunately) and kindly ask seeking for reshipment - i'm hoping they'll find their way to canada from USA at least. @Seeking Alpha Social Club let me know about the canada shipping costs and i'll paypal you.

european / rest of world orders that didnt arrive: i'm sending them out myself. tracked and insured. my wallets already bleeding, at this point it wont matter.
edit: just checked thru all my PMs, from all other orders only a belgium order didnt arrive.

again i want to excuse myself for everything.

i was overwhelmed by all the interest. wouldve never thought so many people would place orders. plus the shipping drama. i'm never sending out an untracked package again. fuck DHL and especially US customs.

no more decks will be offered for sale. too much stress.

ah and btw - as pretty much all of the international buyers didnt post about receiving their orders, all except three orders successfully arrived.
two to canada, one to belgium. this means 8 out of 11 international orders arrived.
this thread looks like as if nothing ever arrived which honestly isnt the case.

these decks are leaving today.
in total it’s:
red: 65 decks
blue: 31 decks

plus 5 of each as spare.

= 106 decks

20 decks (10 of each color) are for canada.
this leaves 55 red decks and 21 blue decks for USA order.

now to the packaging:

more cards and more bubble wrap

have i mentioned bubble wrap already?

package closed and sealed.

now this would be more than enough for any normal shipping. but our enemy is US customs.

so i got a slightly bigger package and filled it with bubble wrap.

My quick review: I think they are outstanding. I got mine from a different source. Everything is pretty standard issue Modiano. Pretty much checks every box for me, good texture, good feel, I like the back design, I love the fact that they were for a casino, I love the PIP size (jumbo that is on the smaller side) and position, has the center yellow box, the card stock is bright white. My only quibbles are just preference things, they use the security red ink, I prefer the brighter red, and they are bridge size. I don't mind bridge size, but my players are used to poker size. I have acquired many different bridge setups that I really like, so they are going to get in play. I hope it doesn't cause a mutiny!

I’m still waiting on my order and “if” it comes in I have 5 sets incoming(Unfortunately no tracker on mine so I can’t say when). I’m more then likely gonna sell at least 2 of 3 sets max. I Don’t need that many cards.

I had shipping like this. 3 months until it arrived in New York, looking chewed on but with cards intact. So there is silver lining and I hope same happeneds with yours.

Update:
Had some time to check out a deck...and damn these are great cards.
Great texture (grainy) & finish, love the weight & flex...best bridge cards I owned in a long time (very much on par with my Piatnik decks).
Only drawback with Piatnik is the fading when playing on a rough surface (SSC) and availability (bridge)....but love that buttery feeling once these are broken in.

Time will tell how these will break in...but they feel like a winner out of the box.

I played for the first time in a while over the weekend, and got to try out some of the many setups I've been accumulating. These were my favorites.

SWEET!! I opened the box this morning and could not visibly see a single damaged deck. I will finishing opening it and checking the count today and tomorrow. I am off on Friday, so I will plan to repackage and re-ship on Friday and Saturday.

HUGE THANK YOU to @gulaschkanone for being a stand up guy!! You could have easily have walked away from this mess that Customs created.

Seems like the right proportion of red to blue given the blues I had left over from the last shipment, but I still need to confirm the total combined count (minus the cards that were already re-shipped).

@Geremie I more then likely will sell all my 5 setups but I’m having some doubts after reading @Thomacetti review(^^) of the cards . As well if I do sell all my decks @Seeking Alpha Social Club has been kind enough to handle the shipment of my cards for any buyer . If anyone is interested I’m selling the cards at a discounted price (just have to dig up what I paid for them lol)
