I have 9 packages outstanding. One from May, a few from June, and a couple from early July.

The only one I received (yesterday) was an order from ABC (which was mid-July). I think Gene has an in with Canadian customs.

I mean, buying some cards from a guy who ended up with a closed casino's old stock isn't supporting modiano at all.
Perhaps not directly..... but what it ISN'T doing is supporting their competitors.

To those of you who got your cards, how do you like them?
They’re a bit slippery to handle, compared to my King-AUS & Desjgn decks.
They deal across the table noticeably smoothly, as a result.
My dad in particular ‘spilled’ the deck twice trying to hand-shuffle them; an example of someone ‘external’ who doesn’t care which deck we use and just wants to play.
He ended up swapping them for the Desjgns.
I think they have a crisp feel though, not too flimsy and snap just right.
For better or for worse, I could pick them out of my lineup wearing a blindfold, just because they are so slick to handle; almost no card-to-card stick/drag at all.

I think this might be a little misleading for those not familiar with all the different brands of cards. Charitycase is comparing these cards to Kings and Desjgn cards. Those two cards happen to be two of the most textured, or coarsest cards that I am aware of. So, he's right, they might seem slippery in comparison to those, but in the bigger picture, I don't think they should be categorized as slippery.

I received a deck of these cards from a different source, and I really like them. I would rate their coarseness/slipperyness as average, maybe slightly more textured than average. On the official Dix Redneck database scale, I think they would be categorized as "Linen". Everything about them seems like standard issue Modiano stuff. High quality cards.

When did he say that?
August the 30th. He gave me his PP info and I was concerned about it.
I asked him if he ships from Switzerland or Germany because his Info says Berlin/Germany and I got no reply until today. That was the second reason for me not to PayPal money to him.

I 'm offering for free a set (two decks) for a giveaway raffle to be addressed among those who did not receive their orders (but I can't do the work to find out who the recipients should be).
Shipping on the recipient unless possibly offered by PCF.
@Tommy ?

I guess it’s a good sign that someone received their order?

Yes, I have received mine, consisting of 8 decks (4 for a local friend). I 'm just keeping 2.
Very nice cards, but not in a box, even a paper box. The 2 decks I 'm willing to offer are wrapped and unused.

As far as I know, there are still plenty of good blue decks waiting to re-ship, right?
