Mapes Owners Unite (1 Viewer)

Trying to keep this thread warm... Wish there were more pictures from those with Mapes sets...

Just thought about this, not too sure if anyone in this thread knows about my thread where I post historical videos about older casinos and random stuff but here it is. I made a video about the Mapes and was fascinated about the history behind it. Love seeing the pictures posted here showing what everyone has and it leaves me speechless to be honest at times. The chips are so awesome to look at and if I ever have a chance to own I set I probably wouldn't know what to do haha. Here's the link to the video though if anyone would like to watch it and I hope it's fine if I post it here.

Love these chips! If anyone’s got any mint/excellent shape singles they can let go of, please let me know.

I believe there's more out there and many many other chips out there that haven't been found. I just hope I'm able to see them all or a large portion of them surface throughout the years.
You’ll most likely have lots more time to see that happen than the rest of us will Oscar. ;)
I’m sure you’ll eventually stumble onto things that many of us might not ever get the chance to even see.

I sure hope that's the case. If so, I'll have to bring some pictures with me to show everyone in the far future so we can all see what's out there.

I have this inside feeling that there is like a GIANT gold mine (not literally, but you know) of chips sitting all together somewhere. I want to find that spot...

You never know what you might find. ;) I know this is a thread dedicated to Mapes but check out this discovery from 2003.
