Hello community,

I’ve been reading through countless pages of the forum and, in the custom poker chip section, I’ve mostly found options for ceramic chips (BRPro or Tina’s), which I find very interesting.

Are there also options when it comes to clay chips? Sorry, I’m new here and would really appreciate any help. If there’s anyone from the German-speaking region who could provide samples, that would be amazing.

I’m looking to get a set of around 600 chips, with a budget of $600–800 — is that realistic?

For fully custom your options are basically:

Ceramic: (USD and prices before shipping)
- Tina ~$0.50
- BR Pro ~$1

Clay: (USD)
- Buy existing chips and relabel them to make them custom ~price is the chips + inlays which can vary a lot, probably $3++
- CPC (when they reopen) offer fully custom poker chips ~prices vary with complexity of customization, probably $3-6++

My numbers are very vague (and probably not quite correct lol) but it’s to give you an idea that custom clay will cost more than $1 USD so not possible with your budget.

When it comes to ceramics, I think most will agree that Tina’s are cheaper and lesser quality then BR Pro, but they have more ‘molds’ to choose from, whereas the BR pro’s are just flat and textured chips, ie they don’t have a “web, jester, Greek etc” mold.

If you can find samples that will help you decide which ceramics you prefer. Have fun!

CPC also sells stock clay chips, there are also KeyWest stock clay chips
Which are made by CPC. These are not custom but these are all great chips,
But they are more than your budget
