Hi everyone, I’m relatively new to this poker chip scene and looking to buy a small set for my friend. I’ve used Monte Carlo (didn't like the feel) and those china-made(?) EPT ceramics (which felt decent).
My friend love the aesthetic of the Venerati set, but I've read some concerns here that the newer production from BuyPokerChips doesn't quite match the quality of the original sets. Can anyone confirm if the current set is still worth the buy?
My Criteria:

My Criteria:
- Budget: $1.50 - $2.00 per chip.
- Preferences: I like the ceramic feel over plastic-slugged chips. I’ve looked at BR Pro Poker and CPC, but the stock designs didn't quite click. My friend also said no to Lucky Dragon and The Ascona design.
- Quantity: Around 300ish (since its js a gift)
