Looking for advice on a first set choice (1 Viewer)

Hi, @Sap , great start to your journey.

Since you already have decent use able chips, I would concentrate any future energy you have on the rest of the environment that makes play comfortable, like nice cards, a table, comfortable chairs.
And a house to host!

You may already be able to guess where my hesitation is coming from. Having just discovered this world of poker chips about a month ago, I feel as if I need to work my way up this ladder of quality, or else I won't be able to appreciate the top end. My heart wants the beautiful Atlantic Clubs to just have a (1-table) tourney set and be on my way.

Update. A little more research and diligence and I found a great deal on a set of Tiki Kings from @clapton77 . Great deal and great service from him. Excited to try them out this weekend! Maybe in the future I can try some casino chips, but I am set for the time being

Then, this past weekend, I was able to secure my first Paulson set and a BEAUTIFUL one at that. Diamond Jacks for a T5-Base STT, which I can expand to a full 2 Table Tourney set by buying an additional rack of $100s.
That went fast from unsure to 2 set of new chips in 3 weeks, Congratz

This hobby is highly addictive, always felt like wanting more and more sets

I had no idea how much I would learn day to day, although spending hours on the forums everyday certainly helps :) I am so satisfied with the Tikis and Diamond Jacks. Now, I just want to play in person poker!

Diamond Jacks
It good that you started with Mint Paulson straight away, took me a long 6 months of researching before pulling the trigger on a Used RHC Set, and only recently I decided and managed to upgrade all my used RHC to Mint RHC ( after months of saving up)

Now, I just want to play in person poker!
Haha, don't we all do. Hope you live poker come soon
