I made my own 8 person table that is 72x42. There are many plans on the net. The only extra power tools needed is a router to do the inset groove for the plexiglass under the rail. The router is really handy for doing the curve of the racetrack if that is what one wants. 3/4" plywood, for the table top base, and rail , 1" foam then covered by vinyl. I doubled up the plywood for the table top base, just so it would not flex at the ends.
When you build your own, imagination can run freely. I added under table snack trays with sliders. The table legs can be used pedestal table base, which can be had fairly cheaply. They are solid, unlike the folding table legs.

It’s a 60 inch 8 person table, works well for my self dealt game.
