Now that my WSOP fantasy giveaway is over a discussion started about running a PCF fantasy poker league.
Basically it would run exactly like a fantasy sports league. There would be a draft, you would select pro players onto your team, and players would be awarded points based on accomplishments.
My preliminary ideas:
$20-50-100 buy-in
10-20 teams (PCFers)
Each team drafts 6-10 poker players
Fantasy Football snake style draft
Runs from September or October 2025 to the end of the WSOP 2026
Total winnings over that period count as long as it is on Hendon Mob. Remove the top score from each player to keep variance so one player can't win 10M in some super high roller and score more than most teams. Or determine a points system based on winnings divided by buy-in or a different points system TBD.
Assuming interest but budgets, we could even run multiple leagues at once. Maybe three separate 20, 50, 100 dollar leagues.
Using this thread to gauge interest and collect ideas if anyone is interested.
