2025 PCF Fantasy WSOP contest

In honor of the RIO WSOP chips hitting eBay earlier this year, I have decided to give a few chips away. However, instead of just selecting someone who responds to a thread I thought it would be potentially fun to run an actual contest to determine the winner.

How does Fantasy WSOP work?

Similarly to any fantasy contest, you select players and receive points based on statistical accomplishments.

There are 100 players to choose from placed into 10 tiers. You will choose only one player from each tier and receive points every time that player cashes in an event. There are also bonus questions which will award points if answered correctly.

At the end of the WSOP, the participant with the highest total score among their 10 players and bonus points wins the contest.

Entry

In order to enter, you must meet the following criteria:

A member of PCF since 12/31/2024
Have 250+ posts and/or be a PCF supporting member

I am currently limiting this to 90 entrants but may also increase this depending on interest.

Entry will close on 5/26/2025 at Midnight Eastern Time.

Fill out the following form:

Select one player from each of the ten tiers and answer all 8 bonus questions plus the tie breaker question. Filling out the form should take 5-15 minutes.

Respond to this thread that you have entered so I can verify you meet the requirements.

Scoring

Since I do not have the time/energy to compile scoring myself, scores will be based on the 2025 25K Fantasy Player of the Year (POY Score).

Note: if for whatever reason a player on my list is not available in the 25K Fantasy pool, they will be replaced with a comparable player of my choosing. You will not have the option to re-select due to time crunch and logistics.

Prizes

The winner of the contest will receive a RIO WSOP sample set T100-T500,000 and a setup of 2012 WSOP cards.
