I'm really starting to believe in the theory that you wanted to finish last.
I'm not in that list. I'll probably end up being the new last. Booyah! (not double).

Hey I think there's something wrong with the spreadsheet calculations. I keep on going down on the list  :ROFLMAO:

Probably because 40% of your points are coming from a guy who won two bracelets in three days last week and has done literally nothing outside of that?

@eames took the chip lead for about 12 hours but @waddadonk immediately said no, no, no that's mine.

Perennial dead laster @MrBoosh's plans have fallen apart as he won two bracelets on the same day and is now in 52nd out of 86.

@dkellerd was in 81st place as of Sunday afternoon but now is a shocking 6th in chips a mere 5 days later with three bracelets and a ton of high end cashes this week. A true chip and a chair story so far. For those sitting at the bottom, never lose hope.

Meanwhile, @Josh Kifer is my Freddy Kruger and my literal nightmare is happening right now.

With Ivey and Mateos finally getting their first cashes in the 100K High Roller and Haxton still alive with a cash to come, only 4 players in our contest are yet to cash.

Nick Pupillo
Jason Mercier (most picked in his tier)
Jerry Wong
Maria Ho (most picked in her tier)

I haven't seen Maria's name once, I don't know if she is even playing.

Woah.
I was near last and now 11th. Wild.

You had the less extreme but still impressive path as dkellard. two bracelets with Schulman and Racener on the same day and Vitch and Ben Yu with some big scores.

65th to 11th in 5 days.

I thought I had this in the bag for last place. I am thoroughly disappointed! How dare my team win multiple bracelets!!!! I'm going to have to give them a pep talk to slow things down again.

Deeb and Coleman heads up at the baby Razz, Mateos wins the 250K, Rast wins the Razz Championship, and Seiver stops donking off chips in every tournament he plays in and and you are right back in this.

That's not too much to ask for, right?

Oh and I forgot to mention in the roundup.

David "ODB" Baker is currently chip leader among the final four in the Senior's High Roller. No matter what happens, us ODB owners will get zero points because the Senior's events (and casino employee and ladies event) don't count toward POY standings. So not only do we get nothing out of this, because he was playing in it, he didn't play in other events he could have easily gotten points in like 10K Big O.

So we get nothing and lose potential. A real double middle finger to us ODB owners in the contest from him.

The legend really went and did it. ZERO POINTS FOR EVERYONE!

In other news:

Joey Couden just won the $500 NLHE Salute to Warriors event.

1750209876795.png

Did you have him on your team? If you are in this contest the answer is NO, none of you dumdums picked him.

Among the 100 players that were selectable, only 3 players weren't picked by at least 1 of the 86 contestants. 2 of those 3 were Joey Couden and Tyler Brown who both were value in the 9 and 10 tiers and both now have bracelets in 2025.

For those of you in the upper middle of the pack with players like Erick Lindgren and Maria Ho, now is the time for regret.

Did I win yet?

The good news? You are winning Europe.

The bad news? You aren't winning any prizes because the US is dominating this competition. USA! USA!

I feel like even though I have been at the final table the whole time, i probably will get fucked somehow.

Hey 84 people, look, the guy in second place is bitching about it!

Also, I forgot to screenshot it but at one point last night @Mrs Poker Zombie was in second last and @Poker Zombie was in last place. What a romantic showing of support, you two!

We know how to pick losing players. Isn't it obvious that's how we met?

Not only has @waddadonk been chip leader for three straight weeks, they have extended their lead by a whopping 1,407 points over second place @Jacks. @JDPoker, @Stackme, and @BKisback look to stay alive in the race for first place as well. Norwegian @LeGold sits in 6th as the top Euro for a third straight week as well.

Other notable players include PCF regulars @Thisfiendis138 in 11th, @BPTDirector in 13th, and @jpietrella in 14th looking to move into the prizes as fellow hat collector @Frogzilla, fellow Northern Virginian @arch3r and fellow WSOP singles collector @Tham6165 look to get out of the basement sitting in 76th, 84th, and dead last.

Week 5 Preview

-Biao Ding, Dylan Linde, and 2025 disappointment so far Stephen Chidwick are among the final 11 in the 50K PLO High Roller.
-The 1.5K Millionaire Maker champion will be crowned.
-The Poker Players Championship will begin and reach the final table but not conclude before the end of week 5.
-Should be a slower week as the 1K Super Seniors, 1K Ladies event, and 1K Tag Team event do not give WSOP POY points.

I'm planning on climbing the ladder in the last couple weeks to make it to the final table. If I'm a few thousand points short. Are points available for purchase? I may need to buy a few thousand or so. Lol
Such a fun contest that you are running! Thanks again!

@waddadonk earns the Week 6 Chip Leader badge as they technically stay in first as of this round up due to the event #84 getting an extra day. However, by the end of the night @BPTDirector will take the lead and @oneeyedjack shall move into guaranteed second as Shaun Deeb is the massive chip leader with three remaining in the 1K NLHE event which will be the only points that will be given out on a slow Sunday.

@Stackme sits in temporary fourth but fifth and sixth place @surfik and @BiGGyT are also guaranteed to move above them because of Deeb as well. @legend672, @BKisback, and French player @Feneck84 round out the final nine. @BEANO52 will move into the top nine if Deeb wins his second bracelet of the summer.

Week 7 Preview

-Shaun Deeb is chip leader in the 1K NLHE with three remaining in case you haven't heard about it.
-The Main Event will enter ITM and start awarding points.
-The 50K will award our final NLHE high roller bracelet of the year.
-A few low stakes NLHE and PLO along with the 5K Super Turbo will take place as the Main Event remains the focus.

Shaun MwaDeeb!! He is Dune it! lol. I’m riding my lead on him and a few others. No way this is over - I know that, but it’s nice to see your name on top even if only for a while.
