Giveaway Free 2025 PCF Fantasy WSOP - Win RIO WSOP chips (1 Viewer)

Sunday Roundup - Week 7

Around the bend we go to the finish line.

WSOP Highlights

-Poker legend Cary Katz finally wins a bracelet in the 2.5K NLHE Freezeout.
-Vietnamese rising star Khoi Le Nguyen wins first WSOP title along with 2.7M in the 50K High Roller.
-Zdenek Zizka denies Shaun Deeb another, wins a 1K NLHE bracelet.
-Michael Mizrachi is among the final 24 players alive in the Main Event.

Contest Highlights

-Shaun Deeb continues to lead, Benny Glaser moves back into second.
-Nick Pupillo and Jerry Wong cash the Main Event leaving Maria Ho as the lone pointless player.
-The battle of the Tier 7's rages on as Dylan Linde, Marco Johnson, and Arthur Morris sit in 5th, 10th, and 11th.
-Shaun Deeb and Jake Schwartz sit in a tie for most cashes with 16.
-The Europeans showed up in 2025, activating the over bonus with a 22nd bracelet yesterday.

Full Standings can be found here:

2025 PCF Fantasy WSOP standings

@BPTDirector holds a decent chip lead with only 10 relevant events active or remaining. @surfik and @BiGGyT sit in a not to distant second and third but may need a bracelet to pass them as @waddadonk is hanging out in fourth and looking to take the lead back towards at the end.

@BKisback holds the last prize spot but needs to hold off several people in striking distance including @JDPoker who is only a few hundred points behind.

Week 7 Preview

-Adam Hendrix is 4th in chips with 24 remaining in the Main Event.
-David Prociak is the chip leader and James Obst 6th with 16 remaining in the 3K TORSE event.
-The 25K HORSE High Roller could mix up the landscape of our contest right at the end.
-The 10K NLHE 6-Handed Championship will crown a victor along with a last chance 5K NLHE event.

These are the actual Paris chips I am donating.

Doesn't look like I will be able to win them back. ;)

Monday quick update for those near the top.

Adam Hendrix makes the Main Event final table. A deeper run could launch @Mushmanchuman into the prizes.
Daniel Neagreanu is among the final 20 in the 10K NLHE 6-Handed.
Eric Wasserson is 2nd in chips in the final 20 of the 10K NLHE 6-Handed for @oneeyedjack, Sean Winter 6th in chips for @BKisback, @Feneck84, and @BEANO52
Both Scott Seiver and Jeremy Ausmus are in the money in the 3K PLO for @mostpeople, Chino Rheem is the chip leader with around 150 left for @Feneck84 and @BEANO52 again along with @BPTDirector in first. 18 players in our contest will cash the event.

Hahaha, not at all. You have, however, done a fantastic job with this.

I'm actually open to the idea of running it if we can come up with a solid idea. I enjoy doing stuff like this obviously. I am just not 100% what it would look like but am sure we could get the interest.

10 minutes of thinking:

$50-100 buy-in
10-20 teams (PCFers)
Each team drafts 6-10 poker players
Fantasy Football snake style draft
Runs from October 2025 to the end of the WSOP 2026
Total winnings over that period count as long as it is on Hendon Mob. Remove the top score from each player to keep variance so one player can't win 10M in some super high roller and score more than most teams.

Maybe we can take it to another thread after the contest ends.

2025 PCF Fantasy WSOP standings

WSOP is scheduled but not guaranteed to end tonight. I will also need to do an audit against the 25K standings after all is completed to be sure I didn't miss anything.

Currently there are four tournaments remaining, the primary one being the 25K HORSE.

Phil Ivey just busted in 6th, leaving Nacho Barbero, Chad Eveslage, and Brian Rast in the contest.

David "ODB" Baker is in the final 14 in the 5K NLHE. The Closer is done for the contest with 30 remaining. The final event, the single day 1K Super Turbo is entering the money as I type this.

USA crossed the over for the bracelet bonus. Ivey and Negreanu will be NO for the bracelet bonuses and Asian bracelets will be the under.

It is currently a three way race with Rast being the most important player right now.

Prizes will likely start being awarded on Friday. For our Euro friends in the top 9, we can talk about what will be worth getting out to you and if we can work something out.

Thanks for running this, it's been a lot of fun. I never would have thought I'd be sitting here, repeatedly hitting reload, waiting for an update on Brian Rast on poker news....

Nice call on Dan Zak.@waddadonk.
Was sweating him thinking I had a chance. Then went to the sheet and saw your potential points shoot up too on the update   Good final table action in these last couple weeks

Thanks for running @Zmasterben - could you share some of the tech you put into running this? It looked like results might be pulling from an API with a manual component?

Nothing that advanced. The results tab is all manual entry and feeds all of the other tabs through vlookups and if statements.

Pokernews added 25K fantasy badges so I just use their payout section/chip counts and filter by the badges to see who cashed. That is why I had the requirement that they had to be drafted/available in the 25K Fantasy League in the beginning and had to do a few replacements. I use the filter and find anyone who is in our contest and update the results tab.

The calculations are based on the WSOP POY scoring and language they provided. They don't do the points exactly as listed but I have been calculating that way. As long as my calculations are 100% consistent no one has a real competitive advantage even if I interpreted the calculations wrong.

Technically you would have won but unfortunately I had to disqualify you when your contest required urine test you submitted tested positive for steroids, HGH, speed, rhino horn, and badger testosterone.
I knew I shouldn't have taken that breath mint @Ben8257 offered me at JiJ

Alright all, we have the official final standings

Congrats to @BPTDirector on winning the competition with an impressive chip lead. He will take home the grand prize.

@waddadonk held the chip lead for the majority of the tournament but a late crazy PLO High Roller and the 25K High Roller cemented the win for BPT and left them in second.

For the other eight, we will go down the line. I will re-post prizes and start the selection process soon.

For the Americans, prizes will be to your door for free. @surfik I believe you are listed as having a US address but correct me if I am wrong. @Feneck84 you will need to pay international shipping and we may need some coordination on my end to get a prize out to you. If you think this is not worth your while, I will offer you $20 cash Paypal F&F in lieu of sending a prize to you due to the complications. I will allow you to choose which you prefer.

Thanks to all who participated and a special thank you to our donators. The prizes offered in this contest are likely be collectively one of the biggest giveaways in the history of PCF.
