Thanks for the kind words about a vendor. Would be great if he or another vendor chimed in about how you are responsible for the new business model they follow and tell members how they use to sell chips for pennies but you ruined that.

This accusation is getting pretty old. I am not your problem. Never was.

I've repeatedly stated the fact that I was on a remote island in Fiji that had neither wifi nor electricity during the Chip Room's Horseshoe sale. The only chips I got from them were $1s, $5s, and $25s. All the good chips went to people with good internet connections. I was hoping to build an epic limit set as he said the chips were still in very good condition as they had only been in play for like 2 years. After they showed up and looked like they had been bagged using a lawnmower, I decided I didn't want to keep them. All the other Horseshoe chips I bought were from the secondary market. I cleaned and oiled them all and then ended up reselling most of them here and on eBay for about $75 to $80 per rack for the 1s and 5s. I might have made $7 per rack after cleaning and oiling thousands of chips? Pretty great business I have going right?

I've never participated in any other Chip Room sales at all.

The only chips I bought from The Chip Exchange were the 3 racks I had to buy to get the $100s I wanted. I ended up losing almost $200 on those after I decided I didn't want them either after he lowered his prices (which he said he wouldn't do... And later still claimed he didn't lol).

Sorry @Rhodeman77. I wasn't talking about you specifically, just commenting in general. Constant bullying and comments about pricing & how people sell chips is one of the reason why some vendors have taken their business away from here. No one is twisting anyones arm to buy chips at listed prices.

I wasn’t trying to tell anyone how to sell their chips, more making an observation of the 2 companies business models. I didn’t tag either vendors name as well on purpose. I don’t care how anyone sells their products.

If a vendor or member has something I like at a price I’m willing to pay them I buy, otherwise I pass. Most others do as well.

I don't see any reason the colors and spots can't be shared for prospective buyers, if anything, this should serve to hype up interest and help people wanting to allocate some funds for a new set. All confidential information has been removed from these, not trying to stir up anything, just sick of getting requests for the proofs to be shared, I'd rather post these than disseminate harmful/confidential info.

AFAIK, that's what they put on all proofs. Actual weights vary.
