I am being asked by the buyer of the Detroit Jacks chips to remove any form of the GPI mockups. I have contacted the members who posted mockups on their behalf and kindly asked them to removed it. Its up to you guys to support the vendor and their request.

For the record, I have nothing to do with the purchase of these chips. I will not disclose who the buyer is and I don't know when they will be available for sale.

I'd say no. It seems the vendor really does not want pics of the chips in public view yet. There is no harm in respecting that.

I know this is all speculation, but if a vendor from this site purchased these chips can anyone estimate how long it would be before they would be shipped to the vendor and ready to sell? Just trying to figure out how long I would have to save funds...

I think you have plenty of time. 260k chips won't sell out that fast imo unless you are looking for the higher denoms or fracs, you also have to remember people will over buy and sell them in the classifieds later.

Right, but from past experience the resold chips usually sell at a markup (there are the occasional deals if you are fast).

I have learned from this forum to always buy early and always buy more than you think you'll need.

I mean good point. I still think it'll take a while for them to ship and show up. It's 260 thousand chips. Then they have to sorted and listed. Who knows.

I just want to know if the other Jack chips will be available at some point also.

Jim has these cheapco (chipco) chips for a great price. We put these in play last night.
Sure they’re not paulsons but very inexpensive. Just a thought for a budget.

You have until the summer at least. Maybe May at the earliest. That is just a guess that I’m personally making based in no fact whatsoever.

I would guess the PNY chips went through a similar process. Anyone that knows their history would be able to give some insight as to how long it took for the chips to be shipped once funds clear. I would think it would only be a week or so to get them from the plant to the buyer.

How long that person takes to start selling g them is anyone’s guess.

My guess is 3 weeks

Typical large-quantity shipping is via truck across the border, then via rail to destination city. 10-14 days or so to most US locations.

Right now, somebody, a vendor, has over six figures invested in these chips. I expect to see them sooner rather than later. The physical acquisition has to happen first. But a vendor does not make money by sitting on six figures worth of casino chips.

This vendor has so many they could build a chair out of chips and then sit in it while they organize the rest of them. So lexically speaking, it is possible they could, could, sit on those chips.
