Interest in FDL seating chips (2 Viewers)

I'd like to get some seating chips but don't particularly like what's on offer at the moment. And I can't justify buying 10+ sets for myself of a custom design.

What I was thinking was a generic FDL design. FDL seems to go with a lot of sets (well it will go well with mine )

So whose keen?

Price is going to depend on manufacturer. I was thinking 39mm owps chips (63¢ ea). But could be persuaded getting the 43mm (68¢ ea)

OWPS will require 25 sets to meet their minimum order for ceramics. Gene @ABC Gifts and Awards will do 10 sets (39mm, $7.50/set) - @Phantom is going this route right now in his Casino Royal extras thread.

Yep. That's the backup plan if the 25 set minimums don't get reached. Nothing against Gene, just sticking with OWPS as I've dealt with them before and was very happy.

I'm interested. I have hearts and spades sets from the suits, but you should always have supplies for one step bigger than the biggest game you've ever hosted, right? I had two tables of 6 once, so I definitely need a third set.

Actually I know what you mean now. I wasn't planning on making it an addition to other seating chips. If there was enough interest I could see if it's possible with OWPS, but I was thinking of a standalone set of seating chips.

I recommend you put your interest list in your original post. I learned the hard way through my CPC Stardust GB that all subsequent threads lock out and cannot be edited (after 45 days). Keep the important stuff in the original post, that way you can edit it indefinitely.

Normally this is handled by using different color for the numbers. Here is an example of what the front and back might look like. Still designing!!!
This is an example of red, we could create as many colors as needed. Not sure how that works with minimums

Side A is the same for all, Side B would be different colors

Perfect. Just wasn't sure they'd let you do that as I thought it would count as a different chip. In another discussion I was suggesting a different edge color. But if the above is the case I'll take 4 sets maybe more.

Well that's a bummer.

As I stated in the other post if you could just do different edge color it would fix everything, but I have no idea what is involved in making these chips.
