Ideas for house mold $100 (1 Viewer)

hi all

I’m trying to finish off my house mold set and I can’t seem to make my mind up on what to add for the $100 chip. I already have what can be seen in the photo below, as well as some mgm $1s which are going to be relabelled as quarters.

I’ve considered getting dunes $100s, which are pretty pricey and not ideal, since I already have dunes $25s. I’ve also considered trop $100s which I’m unsure of since they are used and I really prefer chips to be near mint where possible.

I’ve asked Drumhoss about $2 Caesars, which I would relabel, but they will be used as well. My final consideration was trying to find the grey Casablanca $100s, since that would fit the spot progression perfectly, but wouldn’t be house mold, or vegas.

Can anyone else think of any other chips, which will be possible to find and cost in the region of $2-$10 per chip. I’d be looking for between 30-100 chips depending on where the price per chip lands.

Not likely to find any Vegas $100 chips for anywhere close to $2 each, especially if in good condition.

I do love that Sundance chip but $15 is just too much, although I’d likely only ever get 2-5 in play at one time. I just like the idea of having a bunch so they look cool when i get the whole set out. $2 is what I was thinking if I found a standard Paulson casino chip for relabel or a Casablanca type option.

Horse hockey. You're just renting them, and will recoup that money when you eventually resell. Unless you're wanting to get a complete rack or some silly overkill, a $10-$15 deposit is pretty reasonable for the showcase chips of the set. A single barrel will top off that partial rack of $25 Dunes.

there are some mint Tropicana $100s on eBay now. Apachepokerchips has them.

I think $7 each, And on the plus side you dont need many.

Sometimes I just like to look at minty chips for sale and imagine the possibilities !

I took your advice and bought the real things. I couldn’t bring myself to spend $15 per chip, but mostly I was swayed by the fact that spinettis said they had some new Tropicana so I ordered 20.

It is a nice combo, I’m surprised at how much the pink spots really pop. So glad I chose to buy them.

I’m also partial to the Mardi Gras pink and mint green colour spot combo on the black base.
