How often to all of you play home games? Weekly? Monthly?

I used to run weekly game for about 8 years but then life took over and we had to stop. Looking to start over again and struggling to get it running again.

I try to do ever other week, but in the summer it’s much more tricky to get a game. We have played 18 games and 19 games in the last 2 calendar years.

This spring and summer I have been playing 4-5 times per month, a big jump from 2020-2022 when I barely played at all (and got COVID from my first maskless return to a casino). Used to play 1-2 times a week pre-pandemic. I expect this will settle down to about 3-4 times a month.

yeah i think from 2015-2020 i played less than 10 times....so playing twice a month is a lot. I could actually play more since i've found several games around me, but 2x month is just right for me.

Online - Sun tourney series I host, Thu tourney series a friend hosts, plus probably once a week for cash game on Pokernow
Live - Twice per month for friend's live tourney series, once per month for WSOP satellite series I run, plus probably 2 other times for live cash game, at most. Some months no live cash at all.

Home game is every 3-4 weeks. Once in a while its only 2 weeks between games. Sometimes its longer between games.

We run a dealer's choice fixed limit cash game every other Tuesday. The Moxie Poker League runs bi-weekly for 12 weeks (also on Tuesdays) with a championship event on a Sat or Sun at the end of the season. We run two seasons per year - fall and spring.
