Just saw the stat, Florida outscored Edmonton 11-4 in the first period in the finals.
I was thinking Edmonton has had a crummy first periods here in general, but I didn't think it was that bad.
You can't win a game (or series) in the first period, but one sure can put themselves on the back foot which makes it hard to do so.
