Absolutely!
I was honestly surprised they started him. The pull at the end of the first was super smart. Pickard did a better job with some tricky shots he faced and just the change woke up Edmonton.
There were times in the second and the third where they didn't look great, but they had confidence they lacked in the first.
3x OT in the finals, and now a best of three series. It's things like this why I love this crazy game.
Interesting comment by the announcers about the backup goalie that he has to work extra after practices, and the players grow to love him. They put in extra effort when he gets in a game. I had never thought about that.

Teams always get a little bump and play hard for their backup. Edmonton should ride this.
