Hi everyone,
i'm from Bösingen, Switzerland. I play Poker since the Poker-boom hit Switzerland back in 2005/2006.
I love to play nice, quality chips. And what i saw here on this forum let me speachless!
Incredible nice looking sets. Pure art!
Very helpful advices in all sort of questions - lots of know-how here!
This forum is an inspiration.

We've got some small weekly tournaments / cashgame going on here, in a game center.
And home games, mostly easy cashgame. (0.50/1.- ; Buy in 100-200.-)
I don't like much to play in casinos.
I guess the best place to go for poker is the King's casino in CZ...

Thank you for saying hello. I love exploring new european towns and always find it interesting to see how canton borders move around certain properties. I’m curious what caused the split with FR and BE with that small piece of Laupen north of you and south of the Sarine/Saane and Sense Rivers? Does it go back to the Battle of Laupen in 1339 between Bern/Swiss Confederation and Fribourg/allies? The land serving as a defensive position against future crossings and attacks? So interesting.

I'm not an historian. It's possible this is going back to the 14th century, in fear of the Fribourger... : ) ?!
Or people from Bern couldn't believe that the Sense is the border...? Idunno
But i know that is also due to the industrial zone created in the 1970's, to protect the area growing too much...

Propriety/construction land is very, very expensive here.

The stakes at Swiss Casinos are a bit steep for my taste, higher around 5/5 which are a bit high for casual play. I've been generally looking around for friendly / more casual cash games around Suisse Romande so if you / you're game are keen on fresh blood, give me a shout!
