Hi everyone!

I am new to the poker forum. I have been looking at getting a nicer set of chips for quite a long time and a friend has led me to this forum. I actually bought a small set from that same friend yesterday, but I am definitely looking into getting a nicer, bigger set in the future. My favorites I have seen/felt so far are the Apache Royals. I like the bigger size and overall feel.

Now that I have been more serious about getting a nicer set, it is all I can think about. As my friend said, I'll be on to Paulson soon enough! Definitely going to try and take it slow for now.

I live in Fredericksburg (technically Spotsylvania). I don't host nearly as much as I used to, but DM me if you're ever interested in an invite. I am planning to have a meet-up Memorial week, 2026. Here are past threads on my meet-ups.

Thank you for all of this info. I will definitely keep Memorial week 2026 in mind and be on the lookout for that thread when the time comes.
