If a currency is not decimalized, how can you denote, on a chip, the difference between the "main" currency and the "sub" currency? For instance, pounds and shillings. Is symbols the only way?

If a casino is using ¢ for Euro-cents, they are mistaken. The correct symbol is c.

I will double check at work tomorrow,

Otherwise, Partouche and Barrière casino resort uses € 0,xx

The comma instead of a period alarms me every time I see it. You get used to glancing at #,###.## and ###,## freaks me out and I end up doing triple takes.

I’ve seen many European casinos use fractional numbers. So instead of a quarter being 25c, it’s €1/4.

Now that is strange.. they love the decimal, why wouldn't they just do E0.25? ( i cant find the symbol for euro)

Here's 10, copy-paste them and let me know if you need more: €€€€€€€€€€. :)

(BTW: these are genuine European Bank issued Euro signs; not the counterfeit Swiss ones that @1A25R posted above).
