Made a post back in August 2022 not knowing anything and learned alot from everyone here. My intention was to get my first set then but that was quickly derailed by home renovations and having a kid. Home reno is done, kid was born and is doing great, and now its my birthday so time to get this set moving. Found the pokerchipdesigntool then I found the Paulson design tool shortly after and after playing around I came up with a few iterations.

Louisiana Theme
$0.25 x 100 Louisiana flag
$1 x 200 Mardi Gras
$5 x 200 UL Lafayette
$20 x 75 LSU Tigers
$100 x 25 New Orleans Saints

When I was ready I messaged a few designers and @mattross1313 has helped out a ton with an inlay and design refinement. Wanted a simple, clean, and unique inlay so my last name with a pelican to tie the theme together, and denom color to match the base. After some back and forth this is where we landed. He killed it I think.

Any and all feedback is welcome but I think it came out incredible. Only holdup right now is the frac. Really would like feedback on the frac. I liked the progression I had (all the way to the right) through the set but I just dont love the edge. I kind of like the all the way left but don't really know.

Thanks everyone

Lots of purple/white/yellow across multiple chips. I would worry about dirty stack issues. I like the inlay and several chips work well.

Inlay and the $20 are both awesome! I agree with @Rhodeman77 that there are too many color repeats over some of the denoms though

The trick isn’t to literally use the colors and patterns, but use them as influence. That way you can pull the best colors and combos without being confined by specific patterns. So leverage purple, green, and yellow- you just don’t have to use them all on the same chip.

You could have taken the "easy" way out....

Those are some pretty sweet chips. Unfortunately never came across them.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Definitely taking it all into consideration. Think I am going to go with the thinner line frac to cut down on the white. Will sit on it all for a few days then come back and finalize it.
