Hello All,

I'm relatively new here, and I'm looking to get my first set of custom chips. I used Aces chip art that is available and modified it to my liking.

Does anyone have any suggestions on maybe what I should change or what I should look out for? I'm planning on ordering chips from Tina, either ceramic or china clay. But was also planning on trying to get samples of both if it's possible before pulling the trigger on the full order.

Bold move with the yellow T100. LOVE IT!

The only issue I have ( and its my personal preference ) is that you have reused 4 base colors ( green, yellow, white and black ) and the yellow actual has the exact same spot pattern. Might consider trying to alter some of those chips to more easily keep the cash and tourney sets distinct. Just my $0.02

Also, not sure if you have seen this offering for Hybrid Greek Molds?

Good looking set.
I’m curious about the denoms and quantities, though. Is it a T25-based tournament? If so, you won’t need anything higher than T5,000.
And the quantities you have are big enough for a 3 table+ tournament, is that right?

Yes, the quantities are high because just in case I wanted to host a 3 table 40k starting stack tournament, I'm able to. And I just like having the 25ks and 100ks for fun too. :)

And the set is planned to be able to support 3 tables because that's the max I can usually get at a home tournament.

Good suggestion, maybe try to change the yellow spot pattern to mix it up a bit.

And I'm not too bothered that I have reused base colors between the tournament and cash, but maybe it might be a good idea for me to change them because if were used to the colors of the cash set it may be confusing when we play a tournament is my thought process.

But either way its an upgrade from my Craigslist dice chips right now :p

Also for the group buy I think I'm too new of a member to participate, and it looks like it's already past the order date.

Here my second variation with some color and edge spot changes, what do you think.

New GB up if you don't need the chips right away.

I love your $100 chip!

I would go for a different inlay design or clearly different spots (ex. all trimoon tourney) to keep the sets distinct.
Do you think it's better to join a GB rather than order from Tina for my first set?

Also, I never have both sets in play so I'm not too worried about keeping them distinct from each other.

Now I'm noticing you're in EU. Standard GB probably doesn't make sense.

But you can get the chips air shipped through Broken Arrow or Tina.

There's a group of Swiss folks planning to order, depending on shipping costs and your timeline it might make sense to join them if that's something they're open to.

You're in the US, which makes the standard GB accessible to you. How to choose? Justin has experience navigating the order process and has the exclusive Greek mold (IMO this mold looks the best). Tina direct can be a bit cheaper.

Im actually just traveling right now, thats why my location is not in the US haha.

But I'm just looking for a good value set for my first one, and maybe in the future I would consider ordering from CPC for a really special set.
