Favorite sides with a nice steak? (4 Viewers)

when i lived in the south (savannah GA) it would be creamed spinach and Mac&cheese

now it would be Sauteed Spinach and fully loaded baked potato.

but i'd prefer a crabcake with some JO#2

Baked potato-extra butter, no sour cream, a good grilled veggie like asparagus, truffle mac-n-cheese is always nice.

Sometimes, just a knife and fork.

Everyone be honest. When you go to a nice steak house with fresh bread and butter, how much are you eating?

For me it's like going out for texmex and it's endless salsa and chips. I'll get a side of queso and I'm half full before the main course arrives lol.

2 rolls. Chips and salsa/cheese dip at the Mexican restaurant are in real trouble though.

I feel we need a Maryland vs Cajun crabcake competition.

Oh, Jims crabcakes served Wednesday to the early birds pre meetup were the BEST EVER ! I assume they would classify as "Maryland". I want more now!

Stuffed or sauteed Shrooms and raw Jalepenos. Earthy Scotch.

+ most anything above

Old Fashioned, a nice red wine or an ice cold beer if it’s an hot summer day are my go tos with steak.

Crispy shoestring fries or a very buttery smooth mashed potato, but since I'm back on the carnivore train, no sides at all for me, unfortunately.

Went with parmesian garlic mashed potatoes and even some greens this time :p
