Family in Need - Chippers Please Help (2 Viewers)

A lot of the time homeowners insurance excludes aggressive breeds as well, some times they ask on the application and don't exclude it, but will non renew you if you have a claim or they find out your dog's are an aggressive breed. Hopefully there is no exclusion if he does have insurance.

Wow I am so sorry. If you need help on the Mason/ Shrine side please let me know. I am about 25 minutes until touchdown in Vegas. I will see what I have but I would like to add some stuff to Auction off. I will go check out the Go Fund Me page.

I do know if we can get him in a hospital with Masonic ties he will get great care. Bless you and please know that you and your wife are in my prayers.

Quick update:

Zac went home today!

Leah had her breathing tube removed, which is great, however she is now aware of the amputation of her left leg and is (understandably) having a hard time with it.

We are headed to the hospital on Saturday to see her. Is a few hour drive from us. I’ll try and update update more then.

David,
I am very sorry for all involved, your family, the children. So very sad it stopped me in my tracks reading your post. Prayers to all and the kids recoveries. I cannot come close to imagining what they and you all are going thru. God Bless. Sending GFM now

John

Holy crap this made my throat choke up. My condolences and sending love and prayers your way.

Hello PCF
My name is Allison... @AfterTheFact’s wife. I wanted to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and charity auctions for the benefit of my family. To update, Zack, my 7 year old nephew has been released from the hospital. He is doing ok physically, however severely traumatized and is having nightmares. Leah, my 9 year old niece is doing slightly better. Her breathing tube is out and she is resting. My brother Robert and his family will need lots of therapy and strength to get her through this. Please continue to pray for her and my family ❤️ Thank you so much again for all your selfless acts of kindness towards my family

Just now catching up on this... what a terrible tragedy for all concerned. Our thoughts and prayers to to all, and David, I will be setting up some type of contribution/auction later today with proceeds to help out. My very soul hurts, and cannot begin to realize the pain of those directly involved. Bless you all.

Links to two charity auctions with proceeds donated directly to the GoFundMe site. Both auctions end Wednesday 26-Dec-2018.

Allison, Please know that you and your whole family are in my prayers daily. I am hoping that the Shriners hospital for children are involved especially to make sure that Leah gets the opportunity to walk again. I am a Shriner and can help get the family in touch with the Shrine. Please contact me via PM if there is any way that I can help!

God Bless You!

Thought I would post an update on Leah. Seeing her sitting up and engaged makes me extremely happy. I have not felt comfortable taking pictures before but one of her other uncles and cousin posted this one on Facebook today.

We went to see Leah today. She was feeling a bit sick and had a fever when we arrived and she was given Tylenol. She was able to eat a few McDonalds nuggets we brought by the time we left.

She is in a regular room and they are going to finish closing her leg up tomorrow. She is scheduled to go to the Shriners Hospital in Greenville, SC at the end of the month.

All in all her wounds look to be healing well. Emotionally I’m afraid it will be much longer.

Her mother and father are still out of work caring for her around the clock as well as their other four kids.

Thank you guys for the incredible support you have shown to this family during this most difficult time. I greatly appreciate it.... You guys are just the best!

I am glad to hear that she is going to the Shriners Hospital for Children. We have the best pediatric - orthopedic hospitals, doctors and treatments for children, anywhere! Please note that the community came together and made donations to this great group when my wife passed. That meant so much to me at the time and it means even more knowing that Leah will be benefiting from our hospitals. I know she will be receiving the best care she can get and it will not cost her or her family one penny! I urge those that can still help the family to continue as I am sure the financial burden has been something else.

Leah and Zac will remain in my prayers along with their family and yours! God bless all of you and God Bless the members of PCF.

The look on her face in those pictures says a lot, such a traumatic thing for a child to go through at that age. It really is heartbreaking to see that.

How are the kids doing? Any word on whether the dog owner's insurance is going to provide some support?
