Hey Everyone!
So in the interest of transparency, I just wanted everyone to understand why wait times seem to be in flux.
I keep on saying "Life is busy at the moment" and we are doing what we can to under promise and over deliver.
Our goal is to reach out before the expected timeframe, but sometimes we may ask for a few more weeks of grace here and there.
That is the TL;DR...

Gear's brother has been fighting a kind of skin cancer for some time.
In recent months it has been progressing and so has the treatment.
This is the family on Christmas Day 2025

His brother is big into a Japan exchange program, and used to work and teach English in Japan.
This year, he took on organizing the Japan Bowl tournament for high school aged kids.

Unfortunately there have been setbacks and infections of late, and he had to be hospitalized.
He is stable now, but remains in hospital as his chemotherapy is changing to match the aggression of the cancer.
So we stepped up last minute and took on what he couldn't.
Gear took on the printing of leaflets, nametags and the question/answer sheets. He also did the setup of AV and buzzer system for the event.
I wound up taking pictures and videos for posting to their website later.
His brother was able to attend on a day pass from the Hospital, but he remains there at the moment to ensure stability.

So if we say life is busy at the moment - this is what we mean.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we support our family through these rough waters.
