I told my friend not to hold his breath. I’m posting for him anyway. He has a very tight budget, so if your set is clay, he doesn’t want it. Tina’s, plastics, slugs, whatever, are all okay with him.

He wants a very specific breakdown:

100, 180, or 200 nickels
180 or 200 quarters
180 or 200 dollars
180 or 200 fives
0-100 twenty-fives

Total chip count must be a multiple of 100.

The budget is 600 quarters. I am assuming the budget is sub $150. My math according to his link the set he was willing to buy is $4.50 for 25 chips and we wants 800 chips/25=32x4.50= $144
I did the math that is all the help, I cant think of a micro set with that budget. Good luck!

Personally Id give your buddy an early B-day present and give him $50 more dollars to go with the Olympus chips beaker suggested. If I were making one suggestion that your buddy's future self would be likely to tell himself - many folks (myself included) end up hating nickels / dimes for small blinds.

They end up being negligible to a pot's worth, have no impact on who sees a flop in quarter big blind games, and end up being such a pain in the ass for starting stacks and cashing out at the end of the night.

Go 25c/25c blinds, and use those extra chips to get a much more future proof set.
