I have come across these chips, but they are hours away. The seller is French so the communication is broken at best. He says he bought these from a vendor in Vegas years ago and I don't know enough about Dunes chips to tell if these are Apache replicas or the real deal. This is the only detailed photo he has sent so far. Any input is appreciated as always.
Thanks,

Injection-molded plastic (no metal slug), originally designed and sold by TheChipRoom for 25c each.

The third of four versions of the Dunes golf course chips (the original Paulson casino chips being the first, the Apache-version china clays being the fourth).

In addition to the word "Commemorative," the years is a dead giveaway that these are not original Dunes.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the knockoffs, but a friend has a cash set of one of the commemorative versions (I didn't even know there were multiple versions until @BGinGA posted). The version my friend has looks great (if Dunes are your thing). The colors pop, etc. But they stack, handle and shuffle like shit. Super slippery, square edges...just yuck. Ask @detroitdad, he has some comments on them.

I don't know if these are the same Commemorative version as my friend has, but they are definitely not originals.

They are. The second version (also with 'commemorative' text and years of operation) were the china clays (with round labels) from TheChipRoom.

Are these slippier than china clays?

These look like the version from Spinettis, the one thing I like about them is the smaller inlay and the ‘look’ of shaped inlays. Apparently the version from Apache (China clays I believe), feel much nicer, but have larger inlays and they’re all round.
