Blue for sure! White tend to show dirt after a while (but maybe not so much in home game use.)
I visited the Orléans back in 2017, when they had butterscotch 1$And Orleans is Metallic Silver
Funny that this just came up. 18 for 18 are white. (There are probably a lot of casinos in Las Vegas)Just did a very quick check and of the 28 strip casinos I could remember, I counted 17 Blue, 10 White, 1 Tan (or whatever we're calling the Tropicana).
Might be missing some and/or using bad or outdated info but it seems in the ballpark based on recent visits.
NO!
Just curious, why?Depends on the manufacturer....
Paulson - white (well, 99.8% of the time. Lakeshores being the exception)
CPC/BCC - blue all day (and sometimes black)
Just curious, why?

Probably because CPC White is not a dirty white. However, their Bright White looks very nice, but at a price premium.
There are definitely a lot of casinos in Vegas, and it's a mixed bag.Funny that this just came up. 18 for 18 are white. (There are probably a lot of casinos in Las Vegas)

ThisThis has been discussed quite a bit before. If you want a lot of instant feedback, use the search button (magnifying glass thingy) top right.
My take:
Both can look good, but $1 chips get into play a lot & white chips get grungy easily. For me, it's blue every time and it isn't even close

I was thinking white gets dirty real quick. If new mint chip, I prefer White chip
If used old chip, I prefer Blue chip
I think you’d be surprised. It’s probably more even than you think and I might say blue out numbers white $1 in Vegas. Of the Vegas poker rooms specifically blue is the more more popular $1 chip than anything. Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand, Paris (WSOP), Mandalay Bay, Wynn all have blue dollars.Yeah I've been there. But I don't hang out there.
And maybe somebody has a count, but I'd bet that the majority of Vegas $1s are white.
I’m just guessing. And I tend to focus on older chips, so if Vegas has trended more blue in the last 20 years, maybe I haven’t noticed.I think you’d be surprised.
