Got some more customs after much excitement and anticipation. I was a pinch worried they’d make for dirty stacks but I was set on the colours. Really wanted a fruit tingle blue.

There shouldn’t be too many of these two denominations mixed in as there’s a denomination between them, but just wondering what your thoughts would be if you had to play with them? Too close for comfort? Or all gravy?

Full disclosure. The games involve much drinking.

And yes. You’re right. I’m absolutely looking for only positive comments. (Just jokes - any feedback appreciated)

It appears that you're going to have dirty stacks with solid lighting. At one in the morning when everyone's tired I can see this being a challenge
Haha fek. Outta the gate.

Yeah. I was worried. I’ll have to slow my pirate ways down to ensure no dirty shenanigans.

Raise your stakes to .25/.25 + and you'll be fine. I honestly think your overthinking it.
Thank you. To be fair the 5¢ only come out during the low stakes games, during which there’ll only be 40 $1s on the table.
.25/.50 is the next stakes up.

Thank you

Negative

I just couldn't resist! I see the potential for problems, but, knowing this just make sure players realize that it's a potential issue. I think in time regular players will adjust. Or, not.:)

I like the chips!

Also this ..... Where dirty stacks can become a problem is when you cash players out and give them the wrong amount. I am speaking from experience

I think the splash of green and arc yellow on the $1 reduce the problem. Maybe a brighter pink for the center spot would have been better, but I wouldn't stress about it. Great looking set!

Great advice thank you. May slowly color up the 5¢ as the night progresses… and aggressively color up towards the tail end. That way I’ve got the luxury of time instead of everyone getting paid out at once.

Thank you very much.

I’m not particularly flush with cash so I’ve been building it slowly. No particular cool story for each chip, just save more pics of poker chips than my children on my phone and identify things I like. I really like how certain colours play with each other when they’re in large stacks. Just wanted to build a set that can play micro and small stakes and will leave an impression on new / experienced players alike. I’ve got plaques for $50 because to me, those are Casino Royale stakes haha. Last chip is the $5. Which I’ve got some fun ideas with and will draw on the green .

Long term ambition in a decade or so is to build a nice set via CPC. With that I’ll take my time and flesh out ideas extensively.

When heavy drinking is involved you'll get dirty stacks with black and white solids.

But seriously, I wouldn't overly sweat it. Especially in a nickel game. The green and orange stand out more than the mauve spot that matches the color of the nickel.

They look fine to me tbh. The orange and green differentiate them pretty well. A real look at the stack and you can immediately tell if there's something amiss. With heavy enough drinking, it's possible to miss anything even if the colors are opposites haha.

Preciate it :)
